Our sole purpose is to
help each other secure
all the business we can.
It's time to make some sales!
It's been said time and time again, "Nothing happens until
somebody sells something." And no one sells any thing until there
is a prospect to sell to. That's why the Atlanta City Sales Club
was started in 1948. A group of salespeople got together with the
idea of helping each other obtain all the business possible by
giving each other leads.

Our Creed:
Our Creed is included here because it, more eloquently than any
prose in a brochure, will tell you what the Atlanta City Sales
club is all about.
“I
believe in the Atlanta City Sales Club, in the goods I am selling, in the firm
I am working with, and in my ability to get results. I believe that honest goods can be sold to
honest people by honest methods. I
believe in working, not waiting; in laughing, not weeping; in boosting, not
knocking; and in the pleasure of selling goods.
I believe that you get what you go after; that one order today is
worth two orders tomorrow and that you are not down and out unless you have lost
faith in yourself. I believe in today,
and the work I am doing; in tomorrow, and the work I hope to do; and in the
sure reward which the future holds. I
believe in courtesy, in kindness, in generosity, in good cheer, in friendship
and honest competition. I believe the
best way to help myself is by helping the other person first.”
About Us:
Back
The Atlanta City Sales Club, is a non-profit organization limited
to 50 non-competing members. The only restrictions on membership
are that applicants must have selling as their prime activity,
have been with their company and industry at least 6 months, be of
good character and represent a reputable company.
Benefits of
Membership: Back
There are benefits of membership in the ACSC, such as excellent
business leads. Anyone who is willing to be truly active and give
all the leads possible will get leads that will turn into
business. Additional benefits include the regular exchange of
ideas with seasoned sales professionals, and the social aspect of
the club which, while incidental to our primary purpose, is
greatly enjoyed by most members.
How do I become a
Member? Back
The Atlanta City Sales Club meets every Friday for lunch from
12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. There is an application form which must
be fully completed and submitted to the membership chairperson
along with a check for the application fee. When your references have been checked, and your business category is not conflict with an existing member's business category, you will read your application at two regular membership meetings, doing your best to get to know the members during this period. You will then be asked to miss a meeting at
which the membership will vote on your application.
You can download the application form here (Adobe Acrobat reader required).
